NB III. In the 25th round of the South-West group, we hosted the Szekszárd UFC squad. The match started with a struggle, but our team entered the match with great enthusiasm. The first half was filled with few chances, however, in the 43rd minute, Gelencsér G. Inditotta Leidl, who calmly passed the ball past the visitors’ goalkeeper. Our team started the second half in the same way and the match was more characterized by duels fought in the field. In the 56th minute, we reached a corner, Kása curled the ball in, to which Bozóki arrived and nodded the ball into the opponent’s goal. After that we also had opportunities, around the 75th minute Orbán Kolos was teased, who lifted the Szekszárd goalkeeper who had left his goal, but unfortunately the ball only hit the post.

The thoughts of the head coach of our first team, Ernő Kardos, about the match: 💬 “We scored very important 3 points in a competitive match! Unfortunately, I was missing one player for a team due to various reasons, 6 to be exact and two key players dropped at the last minute due to injuries! There were few of us, but the guys felt the weight of the match and played with discipline! The field at the back is very tight, as the difference between the 9th and 15th places is 4 points! I feel that the team is together, the guys help each other, which could be the key to the last 5 rounds! A tough match awaits us against Ferencváros as well, but we are capable of being effective against anyone, the guys have proven this many times!

Congratulations to the guys, I love them and I’m really proud of them, because what they do in addition to work and university is not easy! We are looking forward to an exciting 5 rounds, but we will face it!!”
