PTE-PEAC HELD BY PMFC.

PTE-PEAC – PMFC 1-1 (1–0)

A real city derby was played between PEAC and PMFC, at the beginning of which the home team seemed to be more proactive. The ice was eventually broken by the college students, and in the 34th minute, Gelencsér was teased out by Archie Hawkins. The winger shot flat towards the middle of the goal, and the ball managed to trickle under the goalkeeper.

Before the break, George Hawkins could have further increased the lead, the exiting winger broke through and shot from about 20 meters flat towards the bottom left, but the goalkeeper managed to deflect it for a corner.

After the break PMFC made three substitutions, which quickly came to fruition. With a ball passed by Kóródi, Babati stepped through and put it away next to Dániel Varga. After this the score remained 1-1 and PMFC remain unbeaten, but dropped its first points of the season, while the surprisingly well-performing PEAC was enriched with another important point.

PTE-PEAC MOVED ON TO THE NEXT ROUND

The PTE-PEAC football team was present at the home of Szekszárd for the opening round of the Hungarian Cup. The Pécs team knocked out the championship rival from the series with Zalán Szabó’s double. Gábor Molnár, head coach of our first team, evaluated the victory against Szekszárd!

NB III.round 7, Pécs again gained an important point.

PTE-PEAC hosted Paksi FC II. at home. The first goal of the match was scored by the visitors, Wiesner gave the Tolna team the advantage in the 22nd minute, so the teams went into the break with a 0-1 stand. After the turnaround, the Pécs team did their best to equalize, and their efforts were crowned with success in the 62nd minute: the awarded penalty was converted into a goal by Bozoki. So PEAC saved an important point on home soil. PEAC–Paksi FC II. 1–1 (0–1)

PEAC MAINTAIN WINNING START OF NEW SEASON

PTE-PEAC-Siófok 2-1 (1–0) There are only five teams with a hundred percent record left in the NB III. South-West group, two of them from Pécs after the PTE-PEAC won their own match on Sunday. (The PMFC defeated Majos on Saturday.) The university guard welcomed Siófok, but as a bad host he let his guest home empty-handed. Czimmerman took the goal of the Lake Balaton side in the 44th minute, who equalized after the turn through Attila Horváth, but finally Péter Major’s goal kept all the points at home.
