A fitting end to a remarkable campaign sees Selston return to the United Counties League at the first attempt after a composed and determined 2–0 victory away at Holbrook Sports.
Manager Lee Stevenson said: “I’m incredibly proud of everyone connected with this football club. To come here, in a game with so much riding on it, and deliver that performance shows exactly what this group is about. We had to deal with a bit of pressure early on, but once we settled, I thought we controlled the game really well. The lads showed composure, discipline, and a real desire to get the job done. To win the title and achieve promotion at the first attempt is a fantastic achievement. The players, staff, and supporters all deserve this — it’s a special moment for the club.”
