NB III. In the 18th round of the South-West group, we hosted the team of Érdi VSE. Our team started the match well. Thanks to this, we took the lead already in the 6th minute, Leidl passed the ball from the right wing, to which B. Gelencsér arrived and shot the ball into the opponent’s goal. We had opportunities after that as well, in the 27th minute Hawkins fought his way into the 16-yard box and shot the ball into the long side of the goal. With this, the players went to the break with a score of 2-0. In the second half, we had several scoring opportunities, but we couldn’t capitalize on them. We were able to stop Érd’s attacks, and Pacéka was also in his place, so the match ended with a 2-0 victory. 💪🔥

“First of all, I would like to congratulate the guys, including the entire squad and the entire professional staff. Everyone put in the work throughout the preparation. There is a huge difference between preparation and league matches, but we proved, especially in the first half, that the guys did a very serious job, and it showed in the first half. I think that we fully deserved the lead, even by such a large percentage, and even more goals could have been scored based on the situations. In the second half, we got tired of our own pace, as we dictated a very high tempo in the first half. Érd started to come up, but they couldn’t create a serious opportunity, they only had one through shot. We had three more 100% shots, and we also had some attacks that would have given us a serious chance, but unfortunately the last passes didn’t work out that way. All in all, I can say that we fully deserved to win.

I would like to express once again my pride in the entire team and crew who made this possible. We are not celebrating excessively, we are moving on, there are still many tasks ahead of us, but I am sure that we can look forward to a beautiful spring if this mentality continues to characterize the company.”
